St. Matthew School held many activities for CSW highlighting the academic achievement and stewardship of our students.

Sunday January 27

St. Matthew alumni spoke at each mass, sharing experiences of how their Catholic education formed the foundation for future success in their lives. An open house was held that afternoon featuring a covered lunch. A great turnout enjoyed a wide variety of food brought by each family. The camaraderie among our school community welcomed the many parents and potential students who came to look at our school. The seventh grade bells choir and school band members performed and the eighth graders presented a slide show.

Monday - Theme: Our Community

The Pre-K children performed on stage for parents and their siblings in school. Local eateries then benefited as all students were encouraged to have "Lunch with Loved Ones" after a half session.

Tuesday - Theme: Our Students

Sports & Buddy Day. All students wore their gym clothes and cheered games in the gymnasium in the morning. In the afternoon, students spent time with their buddies. Younger students are paired up with older students and get together throughout the year. A bagel breakfast was served to former students who toured the school to see any changes since they were in school.

Wednesday - Theme: Our Nation

The eighth graders performed at the Communion service at Hartwyck Nursing Home.

Thursday - Our Vocations

Retired religious spoke to students about where they live, work, and how they spend their days. Students made Valentines and Thank You cards for retired religious.

Friday - Theme: Our Facility

Friday was movie day for the students while the Teachers enjoyed a luncheon provided by the HSA.
